Michal Tallo: Nothing is right, there is no love anywhere

Michal Tallo (* 1993) is a writer, translator and publicist. He has published poetry collections Antimita (2016, Drewo a srd), Δ (2018, Drewo a srd) and Kniha tmy (The Book of Darkness, 2022, Literárna bašta). In 2024 he has published the prosaic work Všetko je v poriadku, všade je láska (Everything is Right, Love is Everywhere; Literárna bašta), for which he was awarded the Tatra Banka Foundation Prize for art. Currently, the translations of this book into five languages are being prepared.
He regularly hosts author readings, discussions on contemporary literature and film, and the Ars litera program on Devín Radio. He has translated several prose and poetry books by Andrew McMillan and Seán Hewitt from English.
